Superyacht painting at ST Marine Engineering, Singapore
Superyacht Painters operates in Singapore through Yacht Refit Asia Pte Ltd, our head office at New Bridge Centre, with yard work carried out at ST Marine Engineering. As an authorised superyacht painting main contractor at ST Marine Engineering, we deliver full fairing, complete repaints and paint project management for yachts over 30 metres, with the documentation that owners, captains and surveyors expect from a European-standard programme.
The team behind the work has been painting and fairing yachts since 1990. Our record spans new builds, refits and class-related repairs in Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and that experience is now concentrated on Singapore as our head office, alongside our bases in Thailand and Vietnam and our UK company, Superyacht Painters Ltd.
Class approvals: two of our delivered projects, M/Y Kahala (40 m) at ST Marine Engineering, Singapore, and M/Y Kerry (33 m) in Hong Kong, for Burgess, were approved by RINA surveyors.
Shipyard approval: approved to operate within government shipyards in Singapore and Vietnam.
“… formally listed and recognised as a main contractor for ongoing and foreseeable yacht refit works at our Benoi Road facility.”

Current project: 76m superyacht in the covered paint shed

Our current Singapore programme is a 76m yacht in the covered paint shed at ST Marine Engineering. The scope covers blasting, full fairing of the hull and a new Awlgrip paint system, together with repair and repaint of the superstructure using an International Paint system. Working under cover gives a controlled painting environment, which is the foundation of a consistent gloss and of reliable cure on large surface areas.
News, 9 April 2026: 76.6 m explorer yacht full fairing conversion project underway in Singapore. A full exterior coatings programme combined with structural composite works has begun on a 76.6 m explorer yacht, managed end to end by our project team.

Planning a Singapore paint programme
A well-run repaint starts long before the first panel is sanded. To give you a realistic view of scope and timing, it helps to share the yacht's length and builder, the existing coating system and colour, the areas in question (hull, topsides, superstructure or all three), your intended yard window and any Class or insurer requirements. From there we can advise on the right system, the level of fairing required and how the work fits the yard programme at ST Marine Engineering.
Owners and managers comparing coating systems may find our Awlgrip vs Alexseal guide a useful starting point. For our history, offices and capability in one document, open the company profile, or return to the Superyacht Painters homepage.
