Superyacht painting and refit in Haiphong
Our Vietnam office is based at 189 Shipyard in Haiphong, where Superyacht Painters runs newbuild fairing and paint programmes and supports refit and repair work for yachts over 30 metres. It extends the reach of our Singapore head office, Yacht Refit Asia Pte Ltd at ST Marine Engineering, and our Thailand office, Yacht Refit Asia Co., Ltd. at Ocean Marina, so builders, owners and managers in northern Vietnam can work with an experienced superyacht paint team on site.
Shipyard approval: approved to operate within government shipyards in Singapore and Vietnam.
Our role is to deliver a superyacht-standard exterior with the finish, documentation and supervision that international owners expect, and to make the paint scope one of the most predictable parts of the build or refit.
Current programme: three 33 m superyachts
Our current Vietnam work is a newbuild fairing and painting programme for three 33 m superyachts at 189 Shipyard, Haiphong, Vietnam, using the Alexseal paint system. Running sister hulls in sequence calls for consistent fairing profiles, repeatable application and colour control across every hull, which is where a documented process and experienced supervision pay off.
News, 24 June 2026: first of three 33 m newbuilds enters the paint shed in Hai Phong. Fairing has commenced on the first of three 33 m superyachts under construction at 189 Shipyard, Vietnam, with climate-controlled tenting installed on site.

A paint subcontractor for new builds in Asia
For builders, an experienced fairing and paint subcontractor reduces risk on the most visible part of the yacht. Our new-build record includes:
- Hyundai Yachts G40, 40 m, South Korea: full fairing and painting to a high superyacht standard in Hempel Yacht, delivered as a subcontractor over approximately eight months.
- S/Y Mirabella 1, 40 m, Thailand: full fairing and painting in Awlgrip.
- S/Y Silverlining, 34 m, Thailand: full fairing and painting in Hempel Yacht. ABS Approved.
- M/Y Kogo, 72 m, France: full fairing and painting at Alstom Leroux Naval Shipyard.
