S/Y Dream, Tartan 4000

Dear Scott and Michael,

My Tartan 4000 sailing yacht needed unfortunate repairs in its Majestic Blue hull and Cloud White boot stripe. I was referred to Yacht Refit Asia and I was really impressed at the research effort to find the right paint and thinners to work with the existing paint.

During haul out week my fears about doing spot repair quickly dissolved from the attention to detail and working processes of their work crew. They also touched up old polish wheel burns, on the transom dinghy mark repairs, and repainted the yellowing boot stripe.

S/Y Dream is again "the prettiest girl at the dance".

Thank you Yacht Refit Asia.

M/Y Lisa I Sunseeker Manhattan 52

Yacht Refit Asia Co., Ltd recently carried out a hull repaint of a Sunseeker Manhattan 52, returning her back to her original black colour of her hull band and swim platform area. They also were able to carry out composite repairs in and around the stern area of the yacht.

As this was the first time, we have used Yacht Refit we were very impressed with their professionalism and their eye for detail during the project. All safety aspects were followed and most importantly a clean ventilated spray zone was setup to ensure a safe clean environment for the paint job. It was obvious to us that the 32 years of Superyacht painting experience was evident with the luster of the black paint works, which is a very hard colour to work with.

I would not hesitate to use Yacht Refit – Superyacht painters in the future and would recommend them for any paint works required.

Yours Sincerely,

Craig Murphy, Managing Director Max Marine Asia Co Ltd

and Exclusive Thailand Distributor for Sunseeker Yacht.

I would like to thank Scott Taylor and his team for the impressive work done completing GRP repairs on our Ferretti Navetta 33.

The challenge of a tight time frame to arrive, find the required materials and do the work was met with smiles, laughter and professionalism.

All class and insurance surveyors were satisfied with all the work completed, all detailed schedules and work reports were sent on a regular basis to be sure all concerned were happy and in the loop.

I would highly recommend these guys for any work required. I would say I look forward to working with them again, but it means I need repairs done!

Best Regards,

Captain Lance Dawson.

“Everybody wants and demands ‘a perfect paint job’, but you don’t always achieve it. The work that has been successfully completed by Superyacht Painters on Sea Pearl is right up there with some of the best and is an undeniable draw. I’m very happy with it and there’s no reason we wouldn’t return here as a first stop.”

I would like to thank Superyacht Painters for the paint job you did on my boat during the major refit in Italyard Shipyard.

It was a huge undertaking of work always in difficult conditions because many works were in progress in the same time however you did an excellent job (full paint, Hull topsides, under the water system and superstructure). Your team is very hard working and it was great to work with them.

I am sure we will work again together in the future and I will give your contact to all my friends’ captains of many yachts in the world.

I would like to thank you for your professionalism and your organization.

Hyundai Yachts 40 m

We employed said company as a subcontractor on a project, 40 Metre aluminium motor yacht for approximately eight months. During this period, we encountered no negative issues, and were pleased with the way the operation was conducted and finished.

The fairing and painting work was to a high superyacht standard, and our customer was completely satisfied.

We would certainly consider employing said company in the future, should other projects arise, and we were given the opportunity to do so.

I would like to thank Superyacht Painters for their services and more importantly for their attitude towards the overall project.

They never wavered from the objective of achieving a Superyacht finish which they did under difficult circumstances.

I would recommend their services to others and would be happy to take them on for another project in the future.

S/Y Mirabella V 75 m

Scott Taylor and his team completed the hull/topsides and deck house paintwork of Mirabella V during an extensive refurbishment His work is always to the best superyacht standard and to time and budget.

Scott understands the requirement for hands on management and does not leave the job to chance. He is a talented applicator in his own right and can work in a small team or manage a very large team to suit all sizes of superyachts.

He is willing to work on site wherever the contract may take him. His personality always helps a job along. I am pleased to recommend him and act as reference.

Yours sincerely, Paul Johnson (Project Manager Sailing Yacht Mirabella V).

Royal Denship

As Senior Production Manager at Royal Denship A/S I was responsible for all manufacturing, internal as well as external, of the vessels. I entered into a cooperation with Scott Taylor and his team as external partner in making the fairing finish of the hulls and superstructures on several of the Royal Denship Yachts.

Consultancy management tasks were included in his responsibilities including full paint budget control, project planning, customer relations, quality control of paint contractors, overall planning of all our Superyacht painting requirements.

Scott Taylor and his team showed in this period, apart from excellent quality in the work completed, and a very great understanding in the flexibility, needed for teamwork between the internal and external parties.

It is very easy to cooperate with Scott, and I recommend Scott as a very professional partner, if needed. The cooperation lasted from 2007 until 2009.

Camper & Nicholsons Yachting Ltd

Camper & Nicholsons have employed the services of Scott Taylor and his team over a period of the last four years. In this time we have been impressed with the proactive and positive attitude that is always presented. .

They have always arrived on the dates specified for the various tasks and work to finish the project within the time frame.

I would recommend Scott Taylor and his team to other yards as a reliable and easy to use sub-contractor who can be relied on to produce an excellent job as a standard.

Muliplast Composite Yacht Yard, Le Defi Areva

Scott Taylor and his fairing team have been contracted by Muliplast Composite Yacht Yard in Vannes France, to fair, paint and prep hull plug and deck moulds for "Le Defi Areva", the french challenge for the America's Cup.

His team have managed to fair the plug within 1mm accuracy of it's designed shape, (measured DGA, 0.01mm accuracy..) This has been done within the contracted timeframe for both pieces, despite unforeseen construction delays that were outside his control and responsibility.

Best regards,

Reference – Scott Taylor

As Project Manager responsible for sub-contractors on the Mirabella V Project, I worked very closely Scott Taylor. The work was accomplished under extremely difficult conditions, working outside in the UK Winter.

Scott Taylor performed with professionalism and skill under these trying conditions and did his utmost to help achieve on-time completion of this major refurbishment necessitated following the grounding of the vessel.

The scope of work was increased to include such items as Ceramic fairing of the Keel Fin, which Scott Taylor undertook and successfully completed.

It was noticeable that Scott had a higher ratio of on-site supervision than fairer/painter contractors, a major contributing factor in the successful completion of their role.

I can highly recommend Scott Taylor.

Mike Golding Yacht Racing, Ecover Open 60

To Scott,

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all, for all your efforts and hard work
during our extensive refit at Saxon Wharf. I am fully aware that we had to work to a
very tight time schedule, as we normally do, due to our sponsorship and racing
commitments, and that there are always unforeseen problems, which try to prevent
things going to plan.

As paint jobs go, it was not easy, as we had sponsor logos to build into the artwork,
which meant exact colour matching and detail had to be met. We are delighted with the
way you and the boys tackled the job, with enthusiasm and professionalism, and the
end result was a paint job that was almost seamless.

You will also be very pleased to hear the number of comments we received from both
the general public and other race teams, about how good the boat looked at our latest
event. I look forward to working with you all at a later date and thank you for your
continuing support.

Regards,

Mike Golding, 'Ecover' Open 60.
