Sunseeker Thailand approved, it’s official! (05/11/20)

M/Y Kerry Nevetta 33 m - Emergency Repair Works
Our team were quick to respond and were onsite at Hong Kong Dock within 48 hrs after quote approval.
Our expert composite repair team leader worked closely with the Rina Italy Classification Society Standards (China) team, the Hong Kong Marine Management team, Delta Marine Services Limited Independent Surveyor and Kerry Navetta’s Captain to ensure everything went smoothly and completed the repair works as quickly as possible.
Extensive composite and gel coat repairs were required and included the restoration of diesel tank and hull. It wasn’t until the damaged composite layers were removed that the extent of the repair work required was revealed. The collision damage was far more extensive than originally estimated and an extra works order was raised and promptly approved.
All works were completed to Rina Italy Classification Society Standards in May 2019.
Everyone involved with the project was extremely professional and helpful, we look forward to working with you all in the near future.
The Singapore Yacht Show 11 – 14 April 2019
Last weekend Yacht Refit - Superyacht Painters visited the annual Yacht Show at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore.
There was a fabulous selection of Motor Yachts and Sailing Yachts to explore, many of which are available to charter here in South East Asia.
We would like to say thank you to some new future partners we met and to the show organisers for a very successful show.

Latest News From Superyacht Painters
Sea Pearl (formerly Aviva II) is a 60 m motor yacht, custom built in 2004 by Oceanco in Alblasserdam, Netherlands . This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are also the work of Oceanco. Sea Pearl was beautifully repainted in 2015 by the Superyacht Painters team at Bangkok Dock.

Vestas Sailrocket 2
Vestas Sailrocket 2 began a campaign to break speed records in November 2012 off Walvis Bay, Namibia On 12th November, it made a 54.08 knots (100.16 km/h) run over a 500 metres (1,600 ft) distance, then 59.23 knots (109.69 km/h) on the 16th. It attained 55.32 knots (102.45 km/h) on a one-mile run on the 18th and simultaneously 59.38 knots (109.97 km/h) on 500m.
On 24th November, with wind speeds at roughly 25 knots (46 km/h), it ran the 500m course at 65.45 knots (121.21 km/h) with a 68.01 knots (125.95 km/h) peak. Both records are ratified by the WSSRC for the 500m and the mile.

Indian Empress is a luxury superyacht measuring 95 metres (311 feet 8 inches) in length, and is the 53rd longest motor yacht in the world, as of 23rd October 2018.
Originally launched in 2000 as Al Mirqab, she had her hull assembled in Durban, South Africa, and then construction was finished at the Oceanco yard in the Netherlands and was designed by A Group.
Indian Empress is powered by three 10,000-hp MTU 20-cylinder engines and is capable of speeds available of up to 24 knots.
S/Y Merrymaid
Merrymaid was designed by Charles E. Nicholson and built by Camper and Nicholsons in 1904 and has been restored to concourse condition, a truly exemplary yacht of excellent bearing and solid cruising ability.
Her body is built of carvel-planked teak on oak frames, with a teak superstructure and decks. The inside is arranged with three en-suite bedrooms offering vintage styled resting accommodation for up to six individuals.

Mirabella V, now known as M5, is the world’s largest sloop at a staggering 75m in length and is one of the most advanced sailing superyachts in the world.
